Lady Gaga accomplished almost everything possible in entertainment throughout his career. Now, Lady Gaga has just scored her 36th Grammy nomination. The nominations were announced today and Gaga scored two, despite not having a Grammy-eligible album this year. An application for hold my hand from Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack and one for the soundtrack itself, which she co-wrote. As many fans know, hold my hand was the lead single from the hit film.

Lady Gaga’s hold my hand on the air in May. Since then, the song has become a hit and has established itself as a favorite of many listeners who don’t often listen to Lady Gaga. The singer also released a music video for the single from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack.

hold my hand is named for Best Song Written for Visual Media, while the Top Gun: Maverick the soundtrack is nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack.

The 65th edition Grammy Awards airs February 5 on CBS live from the Arena in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga may have scored her 36th Grammy nomination, but she wasn’t the most nominated artist this year. Beyonce earned more nominations this year than any other artist, with 9. That includes Disc of the year for Break my soul and album of the year for Renaissance. In second place, Kendrick Lemar. The rapper scored eight nominations, including one for Album of the year. Kendrick released his latest album, Mr. Morale and Big Steps, in May this year.

Also in the album of the year category at the Grammys are Mary J Blidge for Hello beauty, Harry Styles for Harry’s house, Adele for 30, Lizzo for Special, and entries from Coldplay, ABBA, Bad Bunny and Brandi Carlile.
